Curriculum Vitae

Christoph Resch read law and mathematics at the Europa-Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder, the Freie Universität Berlin and the Université Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne) from 2008 to 2014.  He was appointed as a student research assistant at the Institute for German and European Economic Law, Competition Law and Regulatory Law of the Freie Universität Berlin at the chair of Prof. Franz-Jürgen Säcker from 2011 to 2012 and in the Cluster of Excellence TOPOI at the chair for Roman Law of Prof. Cosima Möller from 2012 to 2014. He completed a B.Sc. in mathematics in 2013 and passed the First State Examination in Law in 2014 in Berlin. During his studies, he was fellow of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung).

From 2014 to 2015 he acted as a research assistant at the Institute for Private International Law, International Civil Procedure and Comparative Law of the Freie Universiät Berlin at the chair of Prof. Helmut Grothe and coached the Willem C. Vis Team of the Freie Universtität Berlin.

He was a legal clerk at the Kammergericht (Court of Appeal of Berlin) and held traineeships at the Federal Chancellery of Germany and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. He passed the Second State Examination in Law in 2017 in Berlin.

Afterwards he worked in arbitration practice for Allen & Overy LLP in Frankfurt.
