Max Planck Law

Cooperation

The Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory is one of nine Max Planck Institutes engaged in advanced legal research that together constitute the Max Planck Law network. The purpose of Max Planck Law is to deepen the cooperation between the participating Institutes and strengthen the cross-institute support for early career researchers.

Max Planck Law offers a curriculum of research seminars and workshops, a career development programme, exchanges with leading international law faculties, support for research initiatives launched by doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, a fellowship scheme drawing high-profile international scholars into the programme and an annual research conference.
