On the occasion of the annual advisors meeting, the project The School of Salamanca. A Digital Source Collection and a Dictionary of Its Juridical-Political Language is inviting to an evening lecture given by John Witte, Jr. (Emory University, Atlanta/Georgia. In his lecture John Witte, Jr. analyses the current debate about the role a religiously founded law such as the Sharia takes in the legal systems of the Western world with a special focus on family law.
