Italian Abstract: L'Italia eliminò la discriminazione delle minoranze ebraiche e valdesi con lo Statuto Albertino del 1848: però nel 1938 il fascismo emanò le "leggi razziali", a imitazione delle nazionalsocialiste "Leggi di Norimberga" del 1935. L'antisemitismo fascista era più tardo e incerto rispetto a quello nazionalsocialista, come dimostrano i testi legislativi analizzati. Alla fine della guerra vennero puniti i reati commessi sotto il fascismo, tuttavia per giungere a una pacificazione sociale due ministri della giustizia emanarono due amnistie: l'"Amnistia Togliatti" del 1946 e l'"Amnistia Azara" del 1953, che annullarono quasi del tutto la punizione dei reati commessi sotto il fascismo. In appendice sono pubblicate quattro bibliografie: dei libri di sopravvissuti alla Shoah, delle pubblicazioni sulle leggi razziali (fra il 2017 e il 2021), e delle due amnistie.

English Abstract: Italy had abolished the discrimination of the Jewish and Waldensian minorities with the Statuto Albertino of 1848. However, in 1938 Fascism enacted the so-called "racial laws", in imitation of the national socialist "Nuremberg Laws" of 1935. Fascist anti-Semitism was later and more uncertain than national socialist anti-Semitism, as the analysed legislative texts show. At the end of the Second World War, the new Italian Republic punished crimes committed under Fascism, but in order to achieve social pacification, two ministers of justice issued amnesties: the "Amnistia Togliatti", 1946, and the "Amnistia Azara", 1953. Both of these measures almost completely cancelled the punishment of crimes committed under Fascism. Four bibliographies are published in the appendix: of books written by Shoah survivors, of works about the "racial laws" (published between 2017 and 2021), and of the two amnesties discussed.
