The books series Rechtsprechung. Materialien und Studien published research done either at the Institute or by associated researchers. Its focus lay on legal history in Europe from the Middle Ages to the recent past. Between 1986 and 2016, a total of 33 volumes were published.
All volumes can be ordered as printed editions from Klostermann Verlag. The MPIeR is planning to digitise the series so that the volumes will successively also become available in Open Access via the Institute's homepage.
