Cómic colaborativo y transformación social

En esta sesión, el Grupo de Estudio IAP en colaboración con el proyecto Transmedia HistoryTelling del Instituto Max Planck de Historia y Teoría del Derecho, discutirán el trabajo del colectivo LECHE (Laboratorio de Estudios Culturales, Históricos y Espaciales), representado por Paula Pino López y Javier Peña-Ortega. El Colectivo LECHE se ha destacado por su compromiso en proyectos antirracistas, incluyentes y equitativos. En particular, los expositores se centrarán en explicar su participación en el proyecto "Museo + Escuela", una iniciativa que transforma las aulas de clase en espacios de exploración y creación en Colombia. En este proyecto, artistas, junto a docentes y estudiantes, utilizan lenguajes artísticos -en este caso el cómic para reflexionar sobre las memorias y realidades de sus comunidades. Paula Pino López, antropóloga y Magíster en Estudios Culturales Latinoamericanos, y Javier Peña-Ortega, cartógrafo y etnohistoriador, compartirán sus experiencias y perspectivas en la intersección entre el cómic colaborativo y la transformación social. La charla promete ser una exploración enriquecedora de cómo la investigación en Ciencias Sociales, las artes y el activismo se fusionan para crear impacto en las comunidades. Grupo de Estudio IAP

In this session, the IAP Study Group, in collaboration with the Transmedia HistoryTelling project, will discuss the work of Colectivo LECHE (Laboratorio de Estudios Culturales, Históricos y Espaciales), represented by the Colombian scholars Paula Pino López and Javier Peña-Ortega.

The LECHE group has been noted for its commitment to anti-racist, inclusive, and equitable projects. In particular, the exhibitors will focus on explaining their participation in the "Museum + School" project, an initiative that transforms classrooms into spaces for exploration and creation in Colombia. In this project, artists, together with teachers and students, use artistic languages - in this case, comics - to reflect on the memories and realities of their communities.

Paula Pino López, anthropologist and Master in Latin American Cultural Studies, and Javier Peña-Ortega, cartographer and ethnohistorian, will share their experiences and perspectives on the intersection between collaborative comics and social transformation. The talk promises to be an enriching exploration of how social science research, the arts, and activism merge to create an impact in communities.
