In 2018 Thomas Duve and Stefan Ruppert published the volume "Rechtswissenschaft in der Berliner Republik" (Legal Scholarship in the Berlin Republic) with suhrkamp publishing house. It was intended not least of all to be a review of the development of legal scholarship after reunification. In recent months, a group of Chinese legal scholars led by Fupeng Li (MPI) has translated numerous chapters of the book into Chinese. At the end of 2020 the book with the Chinese title 柏林共和时代的德国法学 will be published by the traditional publishing house The Commercial Press. We hope it can contribute to the dialogue between China and Germany.
