Database on decision-making processes at the Imperial Chamber Court

May 04, 2016

Within the framework of a DFG-financed project conducted by Prof. Anette Baumann, the protocols of judges of the Imperial Chamber Court from different archives and libraries have been made accessible and are now more easily available through a database. The database contains 51 manuscripts and fragments of files from 1524 to 1627 that provide information on the decision-making processes at the Imperial Chamber Court. The Max Planck Institute for European Legal History has been supporting the project by archiving the data and ensuring the permanent accessibility of the database. More information on the project as well as the possibility of downloading the database are provided on the website of the Research Center of the Society for Imperial Chamber Court.
