Analysing the history of journals of international law can arguably provide unique insights into not only the contribution of certain countries to international law, but also reveal more on regional perspectives and developments. The intention of this symposium is to provide an historical overview of some of the oldest journals of international law globally. The symposium will be held online from 21 to 23 June 2023. Given that there are presentations by participants from various continents, the program will be staggered over the three days to account for the various time zones. The symposium will be co-hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory and KU Leuven.
No registration is required, anyone interested can join via the zoom link shared in the program. You can attend as many sessions as you are interested in, we look forward to meeting you online!
