On September 2 the new building of the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History at the campus of the Goethe University will be inaugurated. After the inaugural reception Paolo Grossi will give a lecture about "The message of the European law and its vitality. Yesterday, today and tomorrow." The lecture will be the prelude to a colloquium on "European Normativity – Global Historical Perspective".
