Research Coordination

Research Coordination

The research coordinator supports the directors in the coordination, development and presentation of the Institute’s research profile. The scope of her responsibilities is quite broad and includes the organisation of the interdepartmental programme of events, the support of visitors within the Visitor's programme and scientific editing of the activity reports. Moreover, she advises the researchers on matters of third-party funding applications and project planning and is the contact person for doctoral students and postdocs on questions of work organisation and career planning.

Finally, the research coordinator is closely involved in the science communication and presentation of research activities to those outside the Institute. She is responsible for press and public relations and coordinates the online presence of the Institute as well as the publication of the monthly newsletter.
