Rechtsgeschichte – Legal History in Online-Library BrowZine

July 04, 2018

Our Institute's journal Rechtsgeschichte – Legal History is now available on the virtual journal shelf to all libraries that make their licensed e-journals accessible via BrowZine.

The web application, now accessible via PCs, notebooks, smartphones and tablets, provides a graphic display of the e-journal's editions in the form of a bookshelf view and enables you to conveniently browse through entire issues. You can choose to sort journals thematically or simply search alphabetically by title. By clicking on the cover, the table of contents of the latest issue opens, the full texts of the articles are offered for download and the bibliographic metadata can be exported to literature management programmes. By creating a personal account ("My bookshelf"), you also have the option of receiving notifications of newly published articles or issues of selected journals.

Our library also offers its users access to a large number of legal-historically relevant journals via BrowZine. Alongside the open access version of Rechtsgeschichte – Legal History, the American Journal of Legal History, also published and edited by our Institute, is also available in BrowZine.
