Prof. Dr. Karl Härter’s 25th Anniversary at the MPIeR
The Institute congratulates Prof. Dr. Karl Härter on 25 years of service at the MPIeR. Over the course of his career at the Max Planck Institute, Karl Härter has led several successful research projects in the areas of the history of criminal law, historical criminology as well as the politics and administrative history of the Old German Empire. His contributions to the history of Policey, with which he has greatly influenced the historiography of early modernity, are especially noteworthy.
